Read moreMalaysia Airlines today organized a multifaith prayer in remembrance of the passengers and crew of MH17.
The prayers, which were held at the Malaysia Airlines Academy, Kelana Jaya, saw Malaysians of different faith gather to seek blessings for the souls lost in the tragic downing of MH17.
Transport Minister Dato’ Seri Liow Tiong Lai who just arrived from Kiev earlier today, graced the event. Malaysia Airlines Group Chief Executive Officer, Ahmad Jauhari Yahya who was also present, expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of those on board MH17.
Amongst the attendees were families of the passengers and crew on board MH17, embassy representatives and invited guests.
A tribute was done for the departed souls at the foyer of the academy by all that were present. A condolence book was also provided for guests to pen their heartfelt messages to the departed souls and their families.
The special prayer session was held to give the opportunity to staff and family members of other religions to offer their prayers for the passengers and crew of MH17.
